When Saying "Thank You" just does not feel like enough

Have you ever had one of those moments that as you were saying, "Thank You" you found yourself searching for a more eloquent saying, something that had more words in the phrase, something that just felt like it sounded more important?

Today, I had just that moment as I stood before the congregation at First Baptist Church of Eustis and said, "Thank You."  Thank you for the formula that will go to clients who otherwise might not be able to feed their baby, diapers that are so needed for a newborn and clothing that will be so very much appreciated by one who has so little.  These items will go to the least of these.

At Life's Choices we have the incredible honor of serving the Lord by serving those who are thirsty, hungry and in need of clothing.  We may be the only Jesus they will ever see.  We may be the only one on that day that will tell them how very much they are loved and appreciated.  This wonderful ministry of LIFE is a beautiful modern day picture of our Lord Jesus.  He made Himself available to the least of these.  He left the comfort of heaven and came to earth as a man to walk among the people.  He taught us how to live, love and serve others.

Life's Choices needs more people who want to love like Jesus did.  More that want to serve as He did, and more that will take the step outside of the church to serve in the local mission field.

If you would like more information about becoming a volunteer at Life's Choices, please call the center at 352-357-2202.  What are you waiting for?  Take that step and join those who are standing on the front lines for the least of these in our community.  May you be blessed!

  1. There are many ways you can serve. If you can't volunteer as a counselor, you can make a monetary donation, donate baby items, pray, spread the word about Life's Choices. It is a life changing experience.
